According to § 16 MaBV (German Brokers' and Commercial Developers' Ordinance) real estate agents, property developers and construction management agents, among others, who were issued a licence according to § 34 GewO (German Trade Regulation Act) are subject to the audit. The audit certificate is to be directed to the relevant authorising agency at the latest by 31 Dec after the expiration of the auditing year by the tradesman.
